I came across this door and wondered if I could make it look like the girl was entering the room....added the Christmas tree to make it look like that's what she was hurrying to see. I would say you achieved both aims and it looks great.

I agree with Lillias - it's perfect. I tried to work with this photo, but failed miserably. Still open to trying, though. If I get a good idea like yours.

inspired by Helen's doorway idea At first, she was going to be looking out the window, but I liked this look better I may have used a window, but just re-imagine it as patio doors. LOL
created the outer frame using layer styles shadow and bevel To get the frame look, you need to cut out the center of your paper and place that layer above your project. The layer styles complete the transition.

I may have used a window, but just re-imagine it as patio doors. LOL Definitely works if viewed as patio doors Janice. Those two little girls could almost be twins and I bet they would be good friends and have a lot of fun together.

Those two little girls could almost be twins What was really strange is that I just received that photo of her - just in time to use for this project.

Thank you, Lillias and Janice. It's funny how quickly things can come together.....or not. I spent a ton of time on my first one with the pink house.....this one was a 1, 2, 3 and done edit.
Oh....a little serendipity going on there, Janice. And I agree with Lillias about the girls being friends. Perfect page and I like the silhouette of the little girl balancing.
