Late afternoon light on some poplar trees in the valley.
The valley (like all) undergoes change with the decades, centuries and millennia. This valley was largely carved out of the glacial till some 10 to 13,000 years ago. You might find it interesting that the trails on the background hills are game trails...mainly mule deer and whitetail deer. The trails apparently come and go with the centuries. It is sort of neat to think deer have use the trails you see for possibly a few hundred years...perhaps longer.
This is sized to 4K and it looks sharper when enlarged.
