Weekly Photo Challenge No. 405 - Out of Place

Hi everyone,

Would you like to participate in the Weekly Photo Challenge? Just take a photo that is your interpretation of the theme and post it in this thread.

The rules are rather simple.

- Your photo(s) should be your own, i.e., they should not have been taken by someone else.
- Photoshopping is allowed but should be kept to the basics only rather than a total transformation.
- Grab your camera, experiment, and, most of all, have fun.

Unlike my usual dilema, looking around my apartment I saw many things that "were out of place". However, like Bill, I decided to create one specifically for the theme.  Thinking it's pretty easy to spot.

I know the prices keep going up but you need to shop elsewhere for eggs!!!  Looks like I do when I bought my eggs this weekend- like I am being held up!

Out of Place Rock
Probably from an outcrop hundreds of miles from where it is now. Got moved by a glacier, got dropped or left in a glacial lake up in Saskatchewan, got moved again when the glacial lake ice dam broke and the Souris River was formed and dropped near my place. Got moved a few years ago after my wife spotted it in a gravel pit. It was then picked up by a front loader and placed in the back end of my son's Subaru and brought to our driveway. My son and I managed to get this 800 pound rock moved to its current location by our front door. Oh, it was a birthday present I'll have you know.
Apologies for long story but thought an explanation was needed!

Walking a trail today I was surprised to find recently decorated trees some way from the trailhead. On closer inspection they are all hearts - so I wonder whether someone has something special planned here for Valentine's Day

You guys are good! I think I missed the boat on this one! Mine is more out of order than out of place. Maybe later in the week I will find something that works better.

"Traffic Warning Sign" on a short dead-end gravel road with no body of water nearby - Galiano Island, BC

Saw this surfboard mounted on a near-by house.....maybe a better fit for this theme.

Driving down a quiet country tree lined road and spotted this face on one of the trees that seemed a little out of place. A windy day which resulted in his beard being out of place too!
