cjt posted a photo he took of one of his amaryllis flowers. It is impressive with five blooms on one stalk. On January 30, I posted white and red amaryllis flowers in my gallery. That plant and its siblings have long passed.
One late-planted bulb is just starting to bloom. So inspired by cjt I carried the plant into the kitchen where the morning light shone though the kitchen bay window. It was positioned so the background was in shade that I later darkened in PSE.
