Well, again not a lot of entries, but those presented made it hard for me to select just three. And thanks to all who added to their individual galleries this past two weeks.
This evening, I initially selected seven "frontrunners" and mulled and dithered changing my mind a few times. (My final selections tonight are different than those I made this morning.)
In no particular order here are my IOW selections for Feb 6 to Feb 19, 2023.
srmoment 's snowed under
The shoreline cattails certainly stand out, but what makes this stand out for me is the background. Snowy-day scenes are hard to capture and the background here is most appealing and nicely frames the cattails. A moody scene that conveys the feeling of winter.
dandc 's Spring is a comin'
Bees (even standing bees) are difficult to capture. Excellent use of sun on the flowers and the bee and background shade.
Jim 's Stoic Under Pressure
Lovely presentation and Photoshop work. It is impressive and I think any man would like a portrait like this. I would. Nice work.
