This morphed out of Lillias's cool triple exposure thread. It is still a WIP. Comments welcome. Work in progress Original trumpeter swan photo from March 2022 Original sundog/cloud photo, March 12, 2023 I do not like this region....will revisit.

Oh love this pontiac1940 . Looks fabulous enlarged and displayed on my big screen. As regards the part you are not so happy with - I think that could be dealt with quite easily by adding a mask to the swan layer and using a soft brush at a low opacity just gently brush over that part of the wing to blend it in with the background image. I love the addition of the water in this one. Had I thought of that it would have been the third image to make mine a triple exposure...but I didn’t!

I think that could be dealt with quite easily by adding a mask to the swan layer Thank you all for your positive comments. Lillias, I still had a layer mask on the PSD file and tweaked that area a wee bit. I also played a bit more with some other areas and enhanced the water reflection below the swan. Unless you see something glaring, I am done with this. Thanks again, Clive

I think your changes as regards the shadow/reflection gives the image that bit added depth. I would be ecstatic if I had created this Clive. It's beautiful.

I agree with Lillias, Clive. You did a fantastic job. What makes it extra special is that you had taken both pictures!
Oh, and I hope you'll consider adding this to your gallery.

Thanks everyone. I must add. I would never have been incented to do this without all of your wonderful examples and suggestions over the past five years. I am a bit out of my comfort zone doing this but perhaps one day I won't be able to take photos so the experience is good. Whereas I never used the triple-exposer or the double-exposure techniques, I did use layer mask for the main edits. (When I see all of the layers and masks my mind explodes. ) I also did some highlights (refection/shadow) with a soft brush set at low opacity and cleaned up some small area with the clone tool. Thanks, Clive
