Sammy the Service Swan

Our community had the brilliant idea that a huge inflatable swan would deter the ducks from swimming in our pool.

... the ducks were not intimidated


The sign on Sammy says:  Please do not climb on our service swan, Sammy. He is our natural deterrent to the ducks in the pool area. If he is trying to join you in the lap lane, swim classes, or wants to play volleyball, please slide him gently out of the way.


They can't seem to keep the swan inflated. I hear more swans are coming.
Look for the next chapter in this continuing saga.

The orange backing is a brush - actually, 2 different brushes 

EDITED to add additional information:

If you want a straight line from your brush, hold down the shift key while drawing with your brush.
Don't be afraid to use multiple brushes to achieve the look you want.

That’s hilarious! Methinks Sammy is being sabotaged.... Maybe a couple of eagles flying overhead would scare the ducks away.

As Helen said, this is a really fun page, Janice! Love the way the colors all go together and the little embellishments you added. I really like the photo of the sad swan with the duck on its back! Bravo!
