Yesterday, on the way home from the summer place we took a side trip to Waterton Lakes NP. Despite some smoke in the air we had a nice 3-hour tour around the park. In order of appearance starting in the upper left and going clockwise to the center (sort of) are the following: Two-lobe larkspur, Columbian ground squirrel, Saskatoon bush (white flowers), arrow-leaf balsamroot, glacier lily, black bear cub, arrow-leaf balsamroot, indian paintbrush, black bear adult female and bighorn (sheep) ram.

Looks like a very interesting place to explore, loving all the wildflowers and wildlife. Good job on putting together a great looking page.

Watertown and Glacier NP's simply have to be among the greatest scenery in the world! I know, biased, I grew up about 90 miles east of Glacier! cjt

Yesterday, on the way home from the summer place we took a side trip to Waterton Lakes NP. Very attractive assemblage of the individual components, Clive. I like how your background colors and frame complement each other, and how the beveled square ram frame makes him stand out from the rest of the the crowd, as if he's shouting, "I'm the main macho dude here".

Thank you all. It was done rather quickly and I was pleased. Very attractive assemblage of the individual components, Clive. I like how your background colors and frame complement each other, and how the beveled square ram frame makes him stand out from the rest of the the crowd, as if he's shouting, "I'm the main macho dude here". Thanks Jim. The frames are all the same. (Copy layer style). The background is one of the (wider-scene) balsamroot photos that was blurred. Ah, now the ram is a matter of me being lazy. True story! The insets were cropped from Facebook-sized images and I was able to get ovals and circles out of all except the ram because it was cropped too tightly for a circle. So I just used the rectangular (square) marquee tool as I was too lazy to go back to a larger version and use the elliptical marquee tool. But I agree that it works well.
