Hi everyone, Would you like to participate in the Weekly Photo Challenge? Just take a photo that is your interpretation of the theme and post it in this thread. The rules are rather simple.
- Your photo(s) should be your own, i.e., they should not have been taken by someone else. - Photoshopping is allowed but should be kept to the basics only rather than a total transformation. - Grab your camera, experiment, and, most of all, have fun.NOTE This week's theme was a joint suggestion by dennis9. (Thanks, Dennis, Brenda, and Matthew!)

I tried with a very shiny small aluminium sculpture using a recently acquired ring light thinking it would help with lighting. Wrong - what you see are lots of distorted rings. I'll post anyway but it's back to the drawing board to find a better way to light it Tony

Wasn't planning on this but I just noticed my desk lamp shining down on something on my black notebook. Took out a silver chain necklace and placed it on the notebook. Like this better than my first one.

It looked shinny - until you got real close. Un-cropped image of part of a quarter

A slightly different shiny thing - a male ebony jewelwing damselfly . There are a lot around here at the moment and they are very busy maturing, mating and egg laying as the adults only live for 2-3 weeks. Tony
