Not certain whether this info belongs here or this and that. Since the peak of the Perseids is this Saturday this might be helpful. I've found an extremely useful free site that posts hourly cloud cover prediction that is able to be configured for Canada, U, Mexico, & Bahamas. The image below is a site about a mile from my home.

Thanks Peter. I am on standby for the Perseids. To bad they were not last night. I went out at 3 AM and the sky was crystal clear, no moon and the stars were amazing. (Perhaps should have gone out and taken Milky Way photos.) I use your website on occasion but go to this site for near-real-time satellite imagery. I selected the subregional sector for AZ and NM. You can go to a wider sector to see cloud movement trends. This screenshot was the view today at 3:21 MDT. (21:21 UTC)
