Used pictures taken the other day for my "intimate landscapes". Background textures were from the Adobe Paper Pro extension.....Newt and Metallic Ice.

Clive, the font is called Capture itHere is a screenshot of my layer style settings. I really just moved the tabs around till I got a gradient that I liked. Started with a black/white gradient and then ended up changing colors.

Used pictures taken the other day for my "intimate landscapes". This is a beautifully composed page Helen. The way you have used the fence as a border down the left edge of the page works so well and the addition of the leafy embellishment acting as a bridge between the upper left and bottom right photos creates a very pleasing arrangement. The font and the gradient you have chosen is the icing on the cake. Lovely work.

Have to second the comments that Lillias has made. So much to like about this page, using the greys makes the greens pop.

When applying a gradient to text, you need to simplify the text. With PSE2020, I group/clip a gradient layer to a text layer. I do not simplify the text layer I avoid simplifying because I want to always be able to edit the text.

Elements comes with 5 Metal gradients Thanks Sepiana. With PSE2020, I simply group/clip a gradient layer to a text layer. I do not simplify the text layer Thanks Janice.

Here is a screenshot of my layer style settings. Thanks Helen. I will likely try this one day. It is very effective. Sepiana and Janice also provided info for PSE. Clive

This is a great alternative; it keeps the text on its own layer and editable. Unfortunately, we still cannot apply pixel-based tools to the text. If you try Elements will display that pop-up message. I use this workaround to "protect" the editable text layer. 1. Duplicate the text layer (Ctrl/Cmmd-J). 2. Turn off the visibility on the original text layer. 3. Simplify the duplicated text layer.
