Gold wheel

Made in Xara Designer. Not a difficult one. The circle and spokes are drawn as separate objects, put into place and digitally welded together. The program does that.

The gold effect is done with a plugin made by 'Eye Candy'. One of the effects in that is called 'Chrome'. However, if the base colour in it is set to 'warm' yellow. The effect can be made to look gold instead of silver. The effect's settings allow for different settings of bevel (shape - width - ripple - height). When happy, the effect can be added to the wheel shape. The 'M' in the middle done the same way..

Thanks Clive I like to show them ..but I have to say the program has a lot to do with it. Coming up with an idea is often a problem, one that's within my capabilities anyway. People draw things such as photo-realistic cars in this program. A bit beyond what I can do with it.
