Last week, some friends and I went to The World Equestrian Center to have lunch and take in a meet. Although they opened their doors a couple of years ago, this was the first time I was there. What a great addition to our town. Please excuse the photo quality - these are my photos - taken with my iPhone set on telephoto - plus, moving objects... This layout has been challenging. This is as far as I got - there is much I want to tweak, but I've run out of energy and ideas. Enjoy the subject matter - I may revisit this layout tomorrow. Right now, it is my desktop photo - where I put all my new layouts to find problems and get new ideas.

Well, putting it on the desktop worked. I found a spelling error.

I like your idea of putting it on the desktop, Janice. I need to do that next time. I always look at your layouts. I like how you have balanced the pictures with such an interesting arrangement. The only thing that seems to be missing to my eye is that "little extra" that you always seem to add. Maybe some shadowing to lift them off the page a tad?

Great subject matter and the riders all look so focussed. (that's apparently Australian spelling...) I like how you've spread the images around the page, in my sometimes overly neat world I would have equal spacing between the photos, but I don't always follow my own rules.... I like Helen's idea of some drop shadows.

I am going to take another look and see what I can add. Thanks for the nice comments.

The horses are beautiful Janice. What a great facility to have on your doorstep. I always admire the posture of the riders, so upright and straight backed. I concur re adding a small drop shadow to lift the images off the page a smidgeon.

Those were young riders. Looked around 13 yrs old. Great poise and agility. The horses were Paso Fino - which I’ve never heard of. They did this tiny dancing step - another thing I’ve never seen. What is really nice about the place is a lot of stuff is free and you can just walk in and watch

Only subtle changes - but I'm pretty much satisfied

I like the small changes you made, Janice. Adding the first place tag and the medal were great additions.

Thanks Helen. It's hard to know when to stop tweaking.
