Thank you to everyone for your great entries and sharing your, ahem, perspectives, on the last theme. It is always so wonderful to see the high quality images that the community comes up with.
I have to admit I was struggling for a theme to suggest for this month, but had come up with a reasonable idea which I wasn’t 100% happy about. But as I started to type it ready for posting, my wife appeared with one of her dancing shoes (we do social Ballroom and Latin dancing) that needed a quick repair. So I took it out to the shed, but as I looked at it I thought what an interesting shape shoes can be, and how their curved surfaces accentuate the light and shade and therefore should work well in monochrome. So they are the theme of this month’s challenge. Let your imaginations run wild; shoes could be new or old, being worn or not, specialist or standard, for humans or something else.
I look forward to seeing what you come up with, and know that I’ve got some images in my archive to dig out and offer for your interest. Enjoy.
