Just want to make members aware that it has been reported that some members, myself included, are not able to see images that have been added to some posts. Hopefully this issue will. be resolved quickly.

Just to give a little more info.....checking pro boards support I see that someone has posted a similar concern. This was the reply from one of their admins:
This looks to be an issue with the image host.
"When an external image is linked we place the "call" to the image and the response is at the mercy of the image host. Think of it like making a phone call. The URL to the image is like a phone number. If or how quickly an external image loads would be the same as if you dial a number and you either get a busy signal (image doesn't load), or rings a long time before someone answers (image loads slowly)."

FYI: I seem to be able to view all images at this time on my Windows desktop and Apple Ipad, and most of them are hosted on imgbb.com

Happy to say I am no longer experiencing problems viewing posts on a laptop and my phone.

I have noticed images uploaded to ImgBB can sometimes take a little while to display. The image starts showing at the top and fills in towards the bottom. Most of my images are below 300kb, so it's not like they are too large. I suppose ImgBB must host many thousands or millions of images and servers might get a bit overloaded if lots of people are uploading or downloading at the same time.
Once an image has been viewed, it becomes downloaded to the browser cache and is subsequently drawn from that from then on. Viewing images from the browser cache is very fast, so images only display slower on downloading from ImgBB for first viewing. Only noticeable if the server is running a bit slow, or also would be if a users Internet connection isn't a very fast one.
