In the original the leaves are intense red but it's not so obvious it Autumn in B&W. I used one of my custom profiles in Silver fx I call Golden Brown.

I find thistles interesting subjects especially at this time of the year - here's one catching the morning sun today. Tony

Nicely captured with good detail.....I like the contrast between the sharp pointy parts and the graceful tendril-like parts of the thistle.

Very nice, Fauxtoto ! To me it feels like you've led us deep into the woods to a secret destination that not many people know about.

One from a couple of weeks ago while visiting Niagara Falls - so a Fall pic in more ways than one! Taken with a phone just before sunset from the restaurant at the top of the Skylon Tower. Converted to B&W in Silver Efex. Tony

Beautiful range of tones in your Falls image, tonyw. Are they low lying clouds crossing the image?

Beautiful range of tones in your Falls image, tonyw . Are they low lying clouds crossing the image? They are clouds but they are generated by the spray from the waterfall - called Cataractagenitus. Takes a lot of energy to create but Niagara has lots! Tony
