Very interesting. Know that when I finally give in and upgrade to Sonoma I will most likely not have access to Topaz Impression I. Using something like this might be something to consider with its many opportunities to modify your final result.

Fascinating - I downloaded the action and tried it on this weeks Challenge using the cartoon vector illustration option. Here's what it did for the 60% layer option. Generative Fill AI certainly has a mind of its own and comes up with some really fun stuff. Thanks Sepiana for posting that video - still trying to get my head around using generative AI with partial selections using quick mask or in this case channels

Tony, you motivated me to download the action and give it a try. I will definitely need to watch the video a few more times and continue to experiment but for a first try it shows definite promise. I then took the same image into Topaz Impression to compare. Although Photoshop hasn't fully developed this yet, I look forward to seeing where this goes.

I'm in the same boat when it comes to Generative Fill, quick mask, and channels. I'm still struggling.

Yesterday I attended this CreativeLive class with Lisa Carney -- Masking for Composite Photography. She discussed the use of channels in the selection process. I found it very helpful.

Another problem I have is writing prompts to handle Generative Fill's mind of its own. I have been following these Adobe suggestions from the Firefly Help file. -- Writing effective prompts.
