Hi everyone, Would you like to participate in the Weekly Photo Challenge? Just take a photo that is your interpretation of the theme and post it in this thread. The rules are rather simple.
- Your photo(s) should be your own, i.e., they should not have been taken by someone else. - Photoshopping is allowed but should be kept to the basics only rather than a total transformation. - Grab your camera, experiment, and, most of all, have fun.

Innocence. When do we lose it?

Nothing like raising the bar with the first submission, Howard!

Not as creative as Howard....I went with Initials. Couldn't get rid of the reflection on the locket so I looked for something easier and found the initials engraved in leather on an album.

Nothing like raising the bar with the first submission, Howard ! Too kind, Helen I wanted a better shot to be honest but photographing children is frowned upon here so I had to be quick. Taken at Riverside Park at Sydney Olympic Park last weekend. I think SOP is one of the few Olympic venues that has not been a white elephant after the event.

Iceberg lettuce. Nothing too spectacular. Saw these at the supermarket today.

Ice Temps have been well above averaged for a few weeks because of the strong El Niño. But a couple of cold nights have caused some ice to form on the river. Right now (Tuesday morning) it is above freezing but will be close to minus 40 by Friday night. And at -40 it matters n which system you use. This section of river will be frozen over by Saturday...possibly by Thursday. Ice it is.

Ice should be here by the weekend as well, but until then here's some indoor ice. Thanks for the theme Sepiana!

I is for Iron. Stopped by the docks here today. Not very nice weather but was able to get a shot of this iron-hulled cargo vessel. Moored for the winter after her most recent trip carrying iron ore from Lake Superior to Lake Ontario. Built in 1987 in Croatia and for several years sailed the oceans before moving to the Great Lakes. Looking in need of a coat of paint although many of those scrapes come from regularly going through the Welland canal locks where boats like this scrape the sides on the way through. Tony

The last word on Ice. We have an rather energy efficient house with sealed double-pane windows. (Not triple.) This is a window in the kitchen bay window. At 8 PM the official air temperature is -39°C and the windchill is -53°C (-63°F). Sucks the heat out of any structure and the humidity in the house condenses and freezes.
