I like how the mask shows just enough of the photo - before I used the mask, the photo seemed to be "too much"
I love masks - realize that after clipping your photo to your mask, your mask can be resized and reshaped and you can fill areas on the mask to affect how the mask interacts with the photo. You can also move and resize the photo after clipping so you get just what you want on your mask.
