When was this pistol made?
Production of rim-fire models began in 1953 with center-fire models available in 1955.
A sharp eye will already have noticed that this example is a "two screw" which are 1973 and later.
I much prefer the traditional three screw model, but non-converted three screws are rare as hen's teeth.
I got the gun used in the early 1980s and it as a very low serial number; so, I figure it is probably 1975 or thereabouts.
