A thorny, white, very fragrant, climbing Tea rose introduced in 1850 in France in memory of Mlle de Sombreuil, a heroine of the French Revolution. The blooms sometimes have cream/pink centers until the flat, saucer-like blossoms are fully open. My photo; texture by Marie Altenburg (Soft Illusions #9)

Thank you, Clive. We used to grow it but do not currently. I have some physical challenges that limit my gardening activities these days. I came across this image in my files the other day so thought I'd dress it up with a nice texture.
