Jacki posted this image. I suggested it might make a good sketch. It brought to mind a picture that I had taken years ago. I found the image but it was just too cluttered with junk to think about trying to create a sketch effect. Just for the heck of it I wanted to see what PS remove tool might be able to do for it. While I would still do some touch up work I was really impressed with what I was able to do by just using the tool to gradually remove the unwanted clutter.

While I would still do some touch up work I was really impressed with what I was able to do by just using the tool to gradually remove the unwanted clutter. Good job Helen. There are so many ways to remove items and remove unwanted twigs in many of my bird photos using content are and cloning. Done carefully (as you have done) can't be detected.

Appreciate your comments. I have explored many of the options available to us for removing unwanted objects. In the above image, with so many items to remove, I was amazed at how effortless the job became using just this one tool.

Thanks, BuckSkin. I took it for an "Abandoned" assignment but then never used it because of all the junk. I couldn't remember where it was but found it with a Google image search.......Route 13 in Virginia.
