Hi everyone, Would you like to participate in the Weekly Photo Challenge? Just take a photo that is your interpretation of the theme and post it in this thread. The rules are rather simple.
- Your photo(s) should be your own, i.e., they should not have been taken by someone else. - Photoshopping is allowed but should be kept to the basics only rather than a total transformation. - Grab your camera, experiment, and, most of all, have fun.

Remembering how much our daughter loved this nursery rhyme book.......and her favorite story. Hey! No fair Helen. I read pages 8 & 9 but you left me hanging without an ending to the story. Did the woman ever get the pig home and if so, how? Did the butcher bite the pig and get him to jump over the fence, or perhaps pay her a handsome price for the pig and add it to his store's supply of bacon and pork chops? Did she then take the money back to to the butcher shop and buy a beef roast and T-Bone steaks with her profit or...? Questions, questions, questions.

April is when the male goldfinches change from their drab winter colour to bright yellow and black to attract females - this one is halfway there. And it's also the month when the grackles arrive in quantity and strut around bullying smaller birds while consuming vast quantities of bird food! Tony

The spring flowers sometimes are covered with snow. April 4, 2024 I read this poem yesterday. It is deep and has powerful meaning for me.
