I was introduced to this beautiful video today and wanted to share it. I know the concept has come up with a couple of our members....... PeteB and Peterj....in the past. This idea of the beauty of imperfection was explained and illustrated by photographers and artists who had their work included in this virtual exhibit that has been shared on YouTube. Enjoy!

Wonderful. I feel like I've been through a visual meditation session. So much to like about the concept and the application of the artists. I have a bit of a thing for Japanese paper, reinforced by this video, and those used by these artists are wonderful. Deckled edge, handmade washi, ricepaper, bamboo, mulberry, hemp etc. are perfect for the artworks. I recommend a visit to www.awagami.com to see whats available for inkjet printing. Not too cheap affordable for the right project and beautiful.
