Many are using the latest version of Lightroom Classic or Lightroom CC. However some like me prefer to continue using the last stand alone version of LR 6. Although LR 6 is no longer supported by Adobe, users have reported that it works with Windows 11, although the "Map" feature does not work. There is also a trick to edit files from LR 6 in PS Elements which is the subject of another thread. In December 2023 Adobe officially stopped providing download links to the latest version LR 6.14. To the best of my knowledge, LR 6 can no longer be updated using Help/Check for updates. So if you have a valid licence key and plan to continue to use LR 6.14 it would be a good idea to download a copy of the latest version of LR 6.14 from a web archive while it is still available. That way, you will be able to reinstall when upgrading to a new computer or operating system. I am not sure if a new installation of the product can be activated automatically of if help from Adobe support is needed.
