Hi everyone, Would you like to participate in the Weekly Photo Challenge? Just take a photo that is your interpretation of the theme and post it in this thread. The rules are rather simple.
- Your photo(s) should be your own, i.e., they should not have been taken by someone else. - Photoshopping is allowed but should be kept to the basics only rather than a total transformation. - Grab your camera, experiment, and, most of all, have fun.NOTEThis week's theme was suggested by tonyw. (Thanks, Tony!)

Here's a Duncan-Miller parking meter from days gone by. It's my lucky day too ... there's still an hour left on it! ;-) Thanks for the theme Tony and Sepiana!

This sideboard had been my grandmother's who died before I was born. Not sure if it is strictly considered an antique....but it is definitely old. When I had it refinished I wanted to replace the mirror. The man who did the work convinced me not to.....I'm glad I didn't.

Not sure it's 100 years old but I'd certainly call this camping stove antique - and can recall using a similar one in my youth which was a long time ago! Fill and pump up the tank with paraffin (AKA kerosene). pour some methylated spirits (aka denatured alcohol) into the priming bowl. Light it, let it burn for a while and then open the valve and hopefully get a nice hot blue flame to boil water for a cup of tea ... Tony

This little Antique Shop has been a feature of Carshalton village for so long that it now qualifies as an antique in its own right. i.ibb.co/ctBXDBk/An.jpgBrenda

It is definitely old but still looks like it could do some boiling.
