I have Photoshop Elements 12 and 15. Yes, they're old, but they're all I need, really. Especially since the latest PSE isn't much, if at all, different from PSE 15.
Problem: No matter what I do, I can no longer install either 12 or 15. The company's latest move is to say my browser needs to be updated (it's already updated), and, from what I've read, the demand for a browser update is Photoshop's funny way of saying it won't let me connect to their servers.
I have both programs on USBs, and I've tried downloading them from the website, but it doesn't matter: I still run into the browser-needs-updating problem, aka, we-won't-let-you-connect problem.
I realize some CEO needs a new yacht or third vacation home, but I'm so PO'd at Photoshop that I can't convince myself to buy a new edition. Does anyone know of a way I can continue to use PSE 12 and 15, both of which I've PAID FOR. Thank you.

Can you please post the screenshot of the error you are receiving, or at least the exact error you are getting? Also, which operating system are you using?

Cheryl, that is strange. As long as you have the full installation file, it should install with or without a browser. Here are some points I can think of. 1- First, log in to your Adobe account 2- Go to your products download page and you can see all your purchased products and the serial numbers. account.adobe.com/products 3- Download and install If you previously purchased PSE 12 and 15 from a CD/DVD then you might have to put the setup file on a usb and install from there. The licence code should be written on the box. If you you still can't install, as Andy says, please send a screenshot of the error you are getting. A browser might be needed for activation, but that is a different matter. I wonder what will happen if you disconnect your PC from the internet (turn off modem) during the install? You might also post your question on the PS Elements Adobe forum for advice. community.adobe.com/t5/photoshop-elements/ct-p/ct-photoshop-elements?page=1&sort=latest_replies&lang=all&tabid=allI hope you get the issue sorted. Kind regards Chris

Hi cheryl12, Adobe has provisions in place to address the problem you are having. I have the same request as Andy. We need more information to be able to help you -- screenshot of error message, your operating system, and browser.
