I'm stuck

Any ideas on how to finish off this page?  I do not have another photo I wish to use and the kit did not have other graphics that would work on the page.  I don't want to fill the space with journaling.  Even the background, although I like the color with the photo and graphics, seems severe for a children's page

Feel free to change it anyway you wish - move things around, resize, remove -- or totally redo it

Janice, I was wondering how a blue taken from the reading lesson color might work for the background.

Jim - that works well and fits the theme.  I didn't have any graphic to fit the space, but yours is very cute.

Helen - that's a good idea - a color would be more fun than tan.

I can picture seeing the green chair image on the bottom with everything else above appearing like a dream from seeing the girl reading the book.

What I like about the page you designed is the prominence you gave to the photo. I also like reduced size of the school.

Helen, I tried a number of different colors and background papers, but it didn't seem to go with the graphic

I decided to create some word art and pretty much failed
(sentiment is great although it really doesn't fit the theme -- design is boring)

Sometimes a page doesn't meet my expectations and I give up
Unfortunately, a lot of my scrapbooking has gone back to basics LOL

Here's where I ended up -  I like it because the photo is precious and it's cute
- but sometimes things don't gel like I want them to

Janice I think that could be the refrain for many of us. I know I have been there and it’s frustrating. But it's surprising if you leave a thing for a wee while and then revisit it how it can suddenly all come together...
