Sorry if this is not the right place for this question but I didn't know where else would be appropriate...
I purchased the Elements+ 2024 Plug In and installed it today in my copy of PSE 2024.
Just watched a video by George Peirson showing various places to find the plug in once installed in PSE. He goes on to give a bit of an overview of how to use it.
At around 1.15mins into his video he mentions an additional way to install this plug in and you will see all the items as shown in the screen clip below that I took from his video. He does not explain what the additional way to install the plug in is, and if you look at the second screen shot below this is all I get when I click the Elements+ for the drop down menu - I apologize in advance if I’m just being thick here but if I am doing something wrong I would be grateful if someone could explain to me what I need to do to correct it. Lillias, I also have Elements+ 2024. I access it two ways -- via the Effects panel and the Actions panel. Maybe this is what George Peirson is talking about -- the Actions panel. I'm sending a PM to Andrei Doubrovski, the creator of this add-on, bringing this thread to his attention. He is best qualified to elaborate on this.

Thanks Sepiana. Yes I can access the plug in via File>Automation Tools, the Effects Panel and the Actions Panel. However I can't reproduce the menu that George shows in his video. It may be that all the things mentioned in the drop down menu that he shows are contained somewhere within the plug in but it might be nice to see it as he does. Thanks for your help contacting Andrei Doubrovski. I look forward to his comments.

Hello Lillias, To install the alternative E+ version: - Quit Photoshop Elements, - go to the "C:\Elements+\2024\" folder*, - launch the "action-based_version.exe" file, - start PSE, and wait until it rebuilds its cache. *Under MacOS the path is "Applications\Elements+\2024\" For more info, please, see the E+ Help file: elementsplus.net/help/en/action-based-version.htm

Thank you very much for this Andrei. Can I ask one more question please...Is there any advantage to installing the alternative E+ version over the one I have already installed?
EDIT: I have just looked at the link you provided in your reply above and I guess it answers my added question. Thanks again for your help.

Lillias, Most probably, you won't get any advantage.
The very first version of Elements+ was "action-based" (just 150 thumbnails in the "Effects" panel). Then I created the currently standard ("script-based") version. And I believe it's way better. However a few users still prefer the simple one-click approach of the old version. That's why I have to keep this option as well.

I am most grateful to you for taking the time to answer. I think I will just stick to the current standard version. There is more than enough in that to keep me going.

Andrei Doubrovski, Thanks for coming to the rescue in such a prompt manner! This confirms what I have said so many times . . . Elements+ comes with a perk -- in-house Customer Service and a five-star one.
