I am presently working my way through a Class I bought from Digital Scrapper called ‘Artful Photos’ by Syndee Rogers. I have reached lesson 3 and this page is based upon what I have learned (hopefully) so far. The two papers, brushes and the butterfly are all supplied by Syndee Rogers as part of the course. The two images I used are from Vintage Images. Fonts used are - Better_Saturday by Din Studio, Bell Centennial Std Address an Adobe font and Old Newspaper Types Regular by manfred-klein via fontspace.  |

Have to say that I love it when you share examples of new techniques that you are learning, Lillias. I like the way the newspaper shows in different parts of the image which I imagine is due to some clever masking on your part. Hope you'll add to this thread as you progress with the class.

This is a follow on from above as I gradually proceed through the Class lessons. This is my first effort at a Mixed Media Portrait. It is more by way of a combination of Lessons 1 and 4 from the Artful Photos Class by Syndee Rogers from Digital Scrapper. All items on the page with the exception of the model and the brayered mask come from the Artful Photos Class files. The model comes from Unsplash and the brayered mask is by French Kiss Designs. Not my Usual really...  |

And this page is a serendipity of things I'm learning along the way as I follow the classes. The image is from Unsplash, the BG is from ‘Another Winters Tale’ by G&T Designs. The branch with the scrip portion behind it comes from ‘Fragments of Winter’ kit by G&T Designs and the piece of Word Art comes from ‘I Dream in Colour’ kit also by G&T Designs.  |

Yes that can be done quite easily Clive. Just need to use an HSL adjustment layer and pick whatever colour you like. |
