Hi
I've recently bought PSE v13 and, as far as I can tell so far, it seems to be working OK. However, it wants to download/install an update but, although the window says it's successfully updated, the window saying there is an update! I have been letting this update try to do its thing for two days now and am just a tad fed up with it.
I've tried with my antivirus off and that made no difference. Does anyone know the solution to getting this update to do what it's supposed to do, please?
Many thanks

What does it say when you go to Help>About Photoshop Elements? Does it say version 13.1.1?
Have you tried launching Elements as administrator? Right-click on the desktop shortcut and select "Run as administrator"?
To be honest . . . I think you should contact AdobeCare. They will provide tech support as Elements 13 is still the current version.

Thanks Sepiana, you've come to the rescue yet again I checked the version and it was v13. I then Right clicked on the shortcut to Run as Administrator, went to Help > Check Updates and it then started to update, clearly differently from previously. When the update had finished it showed what had been updated. On checking in Help > About PSE, I now have v13.1 Many thanks for your advice - absolutely spot on! Julie

You are most welcome! I was not sure "Running as administrator" would work in this case but it was worth a try.
