The size of the font and toolbox icons in elements 9

The size of the font and toolbox icons in the editor workspace in elements 9 is so small it is almost unreadable. I was previously using a Windows 7 machine but have now bought a new one and upgraded to Windows 10. I downloaded Photoshop Elements 9 (again because it is already paid for and worked fine on old machine} but it does not seem to be very compatible with the new Windows operating system or is it just me? The Organiser seems to be ok. Any help or advice would be great. Thanks

Hi Bob, welcome to PSE&M!

I believe the problem you describe with the font size is related to your screen resolution and not to the OP (Windows 7 vs 10). Do you have a higher screen resolution on your new machine? If so, you may want to try these workarounds by John R Ellis. NOTE: His site has not been updated but most of the information will apply to Elements 9.
