Hi everyone,
Would you like to participate in this challenge? Just post a photo or photos which will be your interpretation of the theme.
The rules are rather simple.
Your photo(s) should be your own, i.e., they should not have been taken by someone else. Your photo(s) should be taken during the week of the theme. You are allowed to do some photoshopping. You are to experiment and, most of all, have fun.
NOTE: The idea is to capture something that is man-made and is nestled in a natural (nature-made) setting.

This shot of scenic Sydney Harbour is hot off the press as I just took it a couple of hours ago. One can see many man made structures on the fine natural harbour including the Opera House, Bridge, cruise liner Diamond Princess (to left of Opera House), and Fort Denison which is on the smaller island in front of the bridge. It was a former penal site and defensive facility back in the day.

Man-made Tunnel through the sandstone of the Fountain formation in the Colorado Rocky Mountain foothills just west of Denver. Photo taken in Red Rocks Park near the Red Rocks Amphitheater.

Rick,
Great capture! That's how I remember that park -- bright blue sky and bold red rocks. (I was there a few years ago.) No snow? I am surprised. The last time I went hiking in that part of Colorado we had snow on the last day of summer.

Thanks for the compliment, Sepiana.
Not a flake to be seen yet. It's been mostly in the 80's and even the mid 90's all September. We are experiencing our first cold front tonight, but that just drops us into the high 60's for one day, then back to the 70's.

Not a very good photograph, I'm afraid, especially when compared to the other contributions, but I did feel it covered the theme.
Walking through woodland, we found ourselves in the middle of a Christmas Tree Factory. My shot shows (not very well) a man-made label on one of the trees - all ready to go from its natural surroundings to decorate somebody's home. An early reminder of Christmas fast approaching!

Brenda -- Your entry did indeed cover the theme and it did so in a very original way . . . with a Christmas Tree Factory. You walk through woodland paid off. Great job!
Bill -- Very interesting image! It makes one stop, look twice, and think. It has an "Indiana Jones" feeling to it. Well done!
