When I process a RAW picture in PSE9's RAW processor, then bring it into PSE9, I'm unable to save the photo as a jpeg. My options include .tiff and photoshop files, but no jpeg. I've used PSE9 for years and processed many, many pix this way. What's wrong? Did I inadvertently change a setting somewhere? I shoot with a Canon 50D. Many thanks.

Hi markphoto, welcome to PSE&M!
It looks like you are bringing your Raw file from the Converter into the Editor as a 16-bit file. This may explain why you don't have the Save As JPEG option. Go to Image>Mode> . . . and select 8 Bits/Channel. Now you will be able to save your file in the JPEG format.
Check the "Depth" box at the bottom of the Raw Converter. You may have inadvertently changed it from 8-bit to 16-bit.

Depth box at the bottom of the converter. That was it! You fixed it, my friend. Many, many thanks! (And these were pix of my daughter's wedding!)
