Hi all
Having downloaded Photoshop Elements v14, courtesy of Adobe, and now wanting to install it, I find it's a DMG file and I don't know how to proceed to installing this. Please would one of you enlighten me as to what I have to do next?
Any advice much appreciated.
Julie

It looks like you got the download file for Mac users. If you are on Windows, you need an .exe file. I suggest you contact Adobe about it.

Thanks. No wonder I didn't know what a dmg file was They even asked me what OS I had and I replied, saying Windows! I'm now waiting for a response on Chat! Thanks again

Yes, I was given the link via Chat last evening, and downloaded the correct one. Having seen the page where you download from, I think I must have mistakenly downloaded the one for Mac OS. How stupid can I get? In fact, I'm having some issues which is rather disconcerting but am getting it seen to, hopefully. It's so frustrating, though. Anyway, I've burned to disc, for safe keeping, and will use disc to install on my laptop. I've installed v14 on PC this morning. So far, I've just been 'playing' with some of the new features. I've decided to buy Elements+ at some stage but I'll just explore this version as it is first. Many thanks for all help given. I'm very appreciative. Julie
