Finally got to play with the Dehaze presets that were included with the Prolost preset package. I was waiting until they fixed 6.2 (I have the stand alone) to upgrade from 6.01, so.... It's pretty cool how well that works. With the presets, the slider that you get with CC becomes irrelevant. Just move through until you get the filtering that works best. Quick and easy. For a landscape photographer who doesn't always hit the "Golden Hour", this alone was worth the cost.

Preeb. I agree. Using the free presets works well. Who needs CC !!! If you have the new ON1 10 there are also some new dehaze presets but with the advantage of being able to use masks to apply the effect to certain areas of the image.

I am now a CC subscriber and still getting my head round Light room.
From what you are saying and from looking at the prolost site it seems that the free presets enhance a similar feature in light room - have I got that right??
And so as it is free I might as well get it?

As you have LRCC you have the full functional dehaze with adjustable slider to apply the effect as you wish. The licenced standalone LR6 version does not have the dehaze option but the Prolost website offers some dehaze presets to offset that so that you can apply a dehaze effect in various graduations to suit and works very well. As the Prolost presets are free there would be no harm in downloading them to give them a try.

Okay, that's only the Dehaze presets. I bought the whole package, and at that time it was the only way you could get the Dehaze. Actually, although I've picked up a few others in the past, these are the only presets I've ever used extensively. They are great time savers for me - no regrets about paying full price for them.
