I was trying to introduce myself, but introduction page is blank......I was a member of Photoshop Elements User. I tried to go to a page I had bookmarked and wound up here......

I am from Chicagoland area, photographer/musician.......I am looking for a particular method of editing, called the "Orton" effect.......if anyone here can help out with this, I would appreciate it.....

Hi joep, welcome to PSE&M! Glad you found us.

You said you were a member of Photoshop Elements User.   If you still have access to the magazine, you can access this tutorial -- The Orton Effect. If you are no longer a member, they have this free-for-all tutorial -- Getting the Orton Effect.

Hi Joep, and welcome; I'm really glad you found us, and hope to see you around in the days ahead!

FYI: the Orton effect is also built into at least some versions of Photoshop Elements.  In PSE v11 it is under Guided | Photo Effects, in PSE v13 it is under Guided | Camera Effects, and in PSE v14 it is under Guided | Special Effects.

I wanted to ask you what you meant by "I was trying to introduce myself, but introduction page is blank"; if there is something broken I'd like to look into it and get it fixed.
