Hi I am new here but was not able to post on the welcome page!
I have PS Elements 11 and just upgraded my Mac to the new operating system El Capitan. Since then I am not able to use my Photoshop and when I opened a file I was working on it corrupted it. Do any of you know if this new OS supports PSE 11, or do I have to now sign up at Adobe and get my upgrades there (I have not had to do that yet, but looks like that's the only way to upgrade now.) Is that something like you have yo pay $10 a month now?
Any help would be great with this matter.

Hi grdnangl313, welcome to PSE&M!
There have been reports in the Adobe forums as well as in the Apple Community forums concerning problems with Elements 11 and OS X El Capitan. As a matter of fact, we have a thread about this issue.

Photoshop Elements is not part of Creative Cloud at all. This program is only sold with a perpetual license (no subscription, no monthly fee). If you want to upgrade to the current version, Elements 14, you can purchase it directly from Adobe (download only) or you can purchase it from any authorized Adobe retailer (local or online). You can also download a 30-day free trial to test the waters.

NOTE: Scroll down to "Still deciding?" for the download link.
With Black Friday just around the corner, there are many sales for Elements 14 being offered. You may want to check around.
