I am trying to link my Elements 7 with FastStone and am having difficulty finding the .exe file for E7.
When I look under Program Files (x86), I see a folder "Adobe"; I look in that folder and there are many more folders, none of which seem to be what I need.
I am afraid to monkey around in there too much as I barely know what I am doing.
Please help.
Thanks for reading.

Have you tried a Windows search for "Photoshop Elements"?

Hi BuckSkin,
Follow this path. -- C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 7.0\Photoshop Elements 7.0.exe

I must not be doing something right. The guy who wrote the instructions has E7 connected to his FastStone so it must surely be possible. www.imagingtips.com/faststone/settings/0100settings.shtml--- Scroll down to where it says "External Programs Tab" --- I loaded the address Sepiana provided and it accepted it; however, with Elements open, up and running, I highlight an image in FastStone and press the letter "E" and absolutely nothing happens. I try pressing Alt + # and still no go. I typed in the address in his screen-shot (link above), replacing his "\b\graphics" with \Program Files (x86) and I get a pop-up message telling me there is no such address. Thanks so much for helping me.

BuckSkin,
I checked the directions. I believe you need the Editor .exe file. In your original post you asked for the ".exe file for E7". That's why I gave you this path-- C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 7.0\Photoshop Elements 7.0.exe. Here is the path to the Editor .exe file.
C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 7.0\PhotoshopElementsEditor.exe

Sepiana, you are just like The Lone Ranger, always riding in to save the day.
I loaded the editor address, highlighted a picture, hit the "E" key, and within seconds there was my picture in the Elements editor.
Although I already had Elements up and running, the literature states that the external program need not be running; FirstStone will fire up the program and send the chosen pictures to whichever loaded external program one desires.
Now, if I can find the proper addresses, I will add the rest of our photo programs to the list.
Many thanks for helping me through this endeavor.

BuckSkin, you are most welcome! Glad to hear you got it to work. Your reference to The Lone Ranger made me laugh. I am a big fan of this TV series. I have access to all the episodes (going back to the very first one) as a courtesy of my Internet service provider. "Hi-Yo, Silver!"
