Hi everyone,
Would you like to participate in this challenge? Just post a photo or photos which will be your interpretation of the theme.
The rules are rather simple.
Your photo(s) should be your own, i.e., they should not have been taken by someone else. Your photo(s) should be taken during the week of the theme. You are allowed to do some photoshopping. You are to experiment and, most of all, have fun.

Maybe not quite what was intended, but it's definitely the season for this. Looking out my bedroom window this morning:

Seasonal gingerbread village displayed on the QM2 for Christmas. Unfortunately, we were not allowed to eat any of it.
Many thanks, Sepiana, for yet another of your varied and interesting themes.

'Tis the Season when the local turkey farm is a very busy place. Stopped by the store today and it was doing a very good business and at the other end the trucks were leaving loaded with more festive fare. Tony

'Tis the season for some of our local churches to put up a Nativity scene on their lawn. Note the infant Jesus is not in the scene yet. I guess they are waiting for Dec 25th.

Phil - Great way to start this challenge! Your image makes one wonder what is inside those parcels and gift bags. Only Santa Claus knows!!!
Rick – Snow in Colorado? Definitely! 'Tis the season. Beautiful snowy image!
Dennis – This is dedication! You remembered this challenge while on the QM2. Great capture! Gingerbread houses -- definitely a hallmark of the season.
Helen – I love this kind of vintage Christmas decorations. They speak to me. The reflections and the bokeh are a bonus. Great job!
Tony – I really like the angle (perspective) you used to shoot this image. It invites one to follow the sign to the store to get some turkey (or just cranberries if you are a vegetarian). Great capture! Bill – What a capture! The widespread ritual of cutting down trees for the sake of holiday decorating! And the car? Priceless!
Bruce – Beautiful image! I love all those bright and bold colors. Definitely a sign that . . . 'tis the season.

Thanks for the comments Sepiana .. they are always appreciated. Here's one more for the theme; this time in a more traditional sense.

Bill - Beautiful composition, with those undulating lines and the depth of field. This is indeed a tradition of the holiday season and you did a great job capturing it.

The last music event of the year, featuring the Oregon Tuba Ensemble. It is always SRO (standing-room-only); a crowd-pleasing holiday heavy metal program. 16 euphoniums and tubas make a large, space-filling sound!
