Just to repeat. Can the brush settings/size box for shaping the brush be locked open while using the brush you can adjust it on the fly?

I believe this was possible in earlier versions of Elements. You could drag the Brush Preset Picker to the working space and leave it there; it would stay open as long as you were using the Brush tool. I am afraid this cannot be done in Elements 11 and above. Anyway, I haven't found a way to do it.
