I am a proud French Canadian who started photography mostly with B&W in the 70's and still have my Pentax Spotmatic 1000. I kind of put my photo activities on a hold for a few decades..., and then started back, converting to digital. I went through many learning curves and expect to encounter many more. In this process I suscribed to Elements Tehcniques and, from there, joined Elements Village (EV). Although I rarely wrote in EV I did read from time to time and it helped me a lot. I was impressed with the respectful atmosphere, and the kindness and the quality of the reception and answers given the administrators and contributors. I will remain grateful to them.
Canon 60d, Elements and in a near future Lightroom represent my current photo main tools. Still a sporadic photographer.
