Hi everyone,
Would you like to participate in the Weekly Photo Challenge? Just post a photo or photos which will be your interpretation of the theme.
The rules are rather simple.
Your photo(s) should be your own, i.e., they should not have been taken by someone else. Your photo(s) should be taken during the week of the theme. You are allowed to do some photoshopping. You are to experiment and, most of all, have fun.
NOTE: This theme is about capturing something on which people may sit. Your shot may or may not include people sitting.

Maybe a somewhat liberal interpretation of the theme, but I was out at the farm with my 92 year old father-in-law today, helping him saw up a dead elm tree that blew down over the winter. He is SITTING in the master's seat of his old Massey-Harris 44.

Helen - You got this challenge to a great start with your two images. I love how sharp they are; the details are so clear.
Rick - Beautiful image! I love how you included your father-in-law in your composition. It made this image priceless!

These entries are great so far! Here's a spot where you can not only sit, but also catch the #43 into town. Good luck getting a seat.

Sepiana, the bike shot was taken in Tampa, Florida. Two seconds after I shot this it began to rain and I had to run for cover to protect my camera.

I was wondering what to use this week as there are lots of seats around here that are a bit different - some of which I've used before, but then I ran into this one while walking the dog and thought that's different. I would never have thought turning an antique bed into an outside bench but someone did! Took the camera today and it was raining but managed to get a shot without getting too wet.

This squirrel found a place to sit on my backyard fence. There were also plenty of acorns to munch on.
