I agree (although I'm not sure I'd describe the photo as "gloomy"  ). Very evocative colors and treatment. Nice job! |

Wow isn't the imagination a wonderful thing. Some great ideas here from everybody but I have to say that I am really taken with yours Helen. Great work and they certainly do look like scavenging birds in your setting.

I very rarely get time for this Challenge, but I'm sitting at home waiting for a delivery so here goes... I quite liked this little guy, and thought he made a pleasing shape for some wallpaper:

The movie was my first idea too, but since two of you beat me to it and with such very good renderings, I tried something I had wanted to do for some time. It's a first try and not quite as successful as I had hoped. Broken Glass brushes by Kalijean.  |
