Ive been having issues where i was unable to change text colour. I have noticed that when i select a new file etc its defaulted to Grayscale where it should be RGB. How has this happened & how do i change the default please.

This happened to me recently. I tried a couple of things which made no difference but after rebooting my PC everything was back to normal. I opened a thread about the matter at the time and Sepiana provided some helpful suggestions. You can find the thread here...hope it helps... photoshopelementsandmore.com/thread/2232/colour-mode-default

Hi ipbr21054,
Before you try my suggestions in the other thread, I would recommend you begin with the most basic troubleshooting step -- delete the Preferences file. This would rule out a corrupted Preferences file. According to the Help file, . . .
In BillieJean's case, she had already done this and it didn't work; that's why I stepped up the troubleshooting. However, we don't really know what is causing the problem in your case. Let's start with the basics and go from there!

Hi, Just switching on the pc this morning seems to have cleared the problem and rgb is now shown. Hi ipbr21054,
Great news! It looks like once again it is a software glitch. I will check if this problem has been reported to Adobe. If not, I will submit a report.
