Hi, sorry for being a couple of days late, but life gets in the way sometimes. Anyway, with no further ado, my honourable mentions go to: Polo by BerengariaClassically positioned with the subject 'moving into' the frame, with a lovely clean background and an unusual, but effective square format. Lovely image. The Grand Victoria by kathyleeI'm a sucker for a night-time shot, particularly with reflections on water. The boat absolutely (and correctly) dominates the image, sitting majestically in the space but still with room to breath around it. Artist in the Alley by PeteBI love the concept. The artist and her art shown as realistic and the background as a work of art, with the join between the two cleverly worked along existing edges in the image. Lovely sharp detail. So well done to all of the above but my Image of the Week is: Harris Shutter effect by FotofrankWhat a stunning effect, beautifully conceived and executed. The subject suits the concept perfectly, and a shiny Harley always feels both classic and futuristic. Thank you for sharing.

Thanks Alexr for the compliments. Funny but all those things you mentioned (moving into' the frame, with a lovely clean background and an unusual, but effective square format) are things I never consciously think about. I just try to find something that pleases me and maybe when it pleases me I've got those things you mentioned without even thinking about it. Anyway, it's nice to be appreciated. I live a very secluded life and this forum means a lot to me.
