Hi everyone,
Would you like to participate in the Weekly Photo Challenge? Just take a photo this week that is your interpretation of the theme and post it in this thread. This challenge is all about getting you out there (or inside) with your camera and shooting something you perhaps wouldn't normally photograph. Have some fun experimenting!
The rules are simple.
Your photo(s) should be your own, i.e., they should not have been taken by someone else. Your photo(s) should be taken during the week of the theme. You are allowed to do some photoshopping.

Thanks for the theme Sepiana. I think daily life on Portland's Transit Mall represents Urban.

First pic. Urban. Industrial. Them thar hills. . . the other side of which, is the North Yorkshire Moors. The second picture is how I describe Urban - Quiet, residential, tree lined streets.

Wondered what to do for this theme and just happened to be in London (the Ontario one)and spotted this scene on a rather gloomy day - knew immediately it would fit the theme! Tony

This is Urban indeed! I love the composition; I feel I can just follow those people into the image. Great choice of B&W!

Taken in Staunton Virginia..... Helen,
What a great capture! Not your usual "urban" shot. Well done!
Good thing you were in Staunton, VA when I posted this challenge. I was there for a weekend a few years ago. The town's officials have done a great job preserving its historical heritage.

I really like how you shot at two different levels -- rooftop and street level. Great job!

Great capture! This image has all the main ingredients of an urban(scape). I am always impressed how sharp and detailed your images are. Urban Outfitters? They are as urban as Starbucks. Kudos to you!

Wendy,
I love the angle (perspective) you used for this shot, with all the leading lines. Great job!
