Once again we had a lovely showcase of images in the galleries, from which I have chosen the following...... Blue Crayons by BlackmuttWho would think that a few crayons could be turned into such an interesting picture. I like the composition and simplicity of your image. Untitled still life by AngelagWhat a delicious looking harvest. The desaturation of the colours to almost monochrome is very effective in this lovely still life. Duomo from Giottos Bell Tower by AlexrFlorence is on my bucket list and your beautiful image of the Duomo reaffirms that I have to get there soon. Gorgeous capture, I love how the blue sky complements the colour of the roof, and the sharp detail on the facade of the buildings The Accordionist by PeteBThis is a very clever out of bounds picture, extracting Earl from his background must have been quite a task. IMAGE OF THE WEEK At the Station by DandcI can almost feel and hear the hissing of the steam engine in this stunning capture, The black and white processing really adds so much to the atmosphere. Well done everyone

I agree with all of the above. Personally, I wouldn't have been able to pick a favourite. They are all exceptional. Well done.

Thanks, Pauline! Congratulations & "well done" Blackmutt, Alexr and Peteb. As for Dandc's steam engine, I agree with Pauline--it's stunning, and a well-deserved I.o.W. agg

Thanks so much for selecting my photo as your IOW Pauline - quite an honor considering the talent of those on the forum and displayed in your other selections. Congratulations everyone!
