This spring the local Mustang Club is planning on a three day show at one of the local car dealers. I went to one couple of years ago. It was neat. Several years back there was an antique car show at the base recreation center on the lake. I took my then 10-year old grandson. These were his favourite cars. I used this in a informal class to teach the basics of layers. I hoping to do something similar to this at the Mustang show.
The VW bus brings back a lot of good memories.

Beautiful photos and nice layout. I bet your grandson thought he was in seventh heaven seeing all these classic cars and the VW is definitely a classic. VW must have made millions from their sales over the years.

The VW bus brings back a lot of good memories. LOL! That's the color scheme of the one I had! You talk about good memories, oh boy. I set out on the journey to the rest of my life in that bus.

Lucian - those are terrific photos laid out well on your page - I especially like the shadowing to make them stand out.
I have a suggestion to offer for your page. In Digital Scrapbooking, the text we add to layouts is called 'journaling.' I like the story about your grandson. I would like to see 'journaling' on your page telling us about sharing this experience with your grandson.

I agree with Jan, the shadowing really is effective. Being from the other side of the pond, I only know the VW. I love vintage cars, and did have lots of pictures.
