Thankyou to all the people who submitted their images to the gallery this past week, so many favourites to choose from didn't make the task any easier. Hope you like my choices -

Sydney/A view from Bondi Pavillion - I love the colours and the clean lines in this image, the lamp post in the center provides a great lead into the horizon, good to see some people there too.

dandc/Eared Grebe - Sharp details on the bird and such a lovely silky quality to the blue water, makes for a great reflection and overall image.

fotofrank/Warhol girl - I love this image, this editing works really well on this face, she really grabbed my attention.

Blackmutt/Snowbird - Such a sweet image, made me feel a little sad for that poor little bird outside in that cold weather, but your focus on the bird was perfect and the background turned out even better.

Alexr/Flask of red steam - simple subject matter, dark moody lighting, subtle pop of colour all came together to make this my favourite for the week.

Good to see you donning the robes this week Jackie. I loved Alex's image - definitely a great choice and well deserved as this weeks IOW! Thanks for including my image in the commentary and congrats to the others mentioned as well. You would have had a tough job this week going through all of the images submitted.

Crikey, jackscrap, you have made my week; I'm going to be going to work this morning with a smile on my face that's for sure! Great selection all round, and there were some terrific images this week so well done everyone selected plus the many who I'm sure could so easily have also been chosen.
